Louis Evans, President
A successful entrepreneur known in the community as a self-starter and visionary in the electrical industry, Louis Evans has the business acumen for adapting to the changes in the industry as well as the economy. Louis serves as President and comes to CEG with over 25 years experience in the electrical industry. He holds a Master Electrician license and has worked in the commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality and residential arenas. His experience includes design and build, renovation, project/value engineering.
Louis is experienced at project and business development and responsible for nurturing incubation stage business into the growth stages.
Louis is certified by the PA Department of Labor and Industry under the Uniform Construction Code to provide Continuing Education Units in the State of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), a member of the GBCI and is a LEED Green Associate.
He is a graduate of The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry Pennsylvania Apprenticeship and Training Council, Journeyman Electrician.
Robert Ferrucci, COO
Robert serves as Chief Operating Officer for CEG. He brings to CEG the experience of having held several executive positions since 2002. Prior to coming to CEG, Robert’s most recent position was Vice President of Safety and Operations Management for Sikorsky Global Helicopters. Sikorsky Global is the commercial division of the Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation. While at Sikorsky, Robert was instrumental in utilizing metrics management and lean manufacturing concepts SGH saw waste and energy reduction that exceeded the company’s green initiatives goal. Before his role at Sikorsky, Robert was a key member of a five person executive team for Keystone Ranger Holdings and responsible for the growth of revenue and earnings while providing superior returns for the institutional investment team upon the acquisition of Keystone Helicopter by United Technologies.
Robert has 20 years experience in operations and engineering in various industries and Fortune 100 companies including United Technologies, Lucent Technologies, Emerson Electric, and Time Warner.
Robert was appointed to the Pennsylvania Aviation Council by Pennsylvania Governor Edward Rendell and has served as a board member on United States Congressman Kurt Weldon’s Center for Rotorcraft Innovation.
He is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering for which he was awarded a United States Marine Corp educational scholarship.
Kevin Wright: CFO
As Chief Financial Officer, Kevin brings his more than 20 years experience in the financial arena to CEG. Kevin is a member of the Jumpstart Capital Management investment management team. He is responsible for investment analysis and approval. Kevin is also responsible for treasury management, accounting and tax compliance. Prior to joining CEG’s team Kevin was President of Beyond the Wall, Inc. a specialty retailer located in Stroudsburg, PA. He was Director of International Finance for Thomson Healthcare in Stamford, CT and began his professional career as a Controller at Price Waterhouse Coopers in New York, NY.
Kevin is a graduate of the University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in accounting and earned his MBA from New York University’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business. Kevin also earned the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship.
Karen Labbate: Vice President of Sales
Karen serves as Vice President of Sales for CEG. She comes to us with 15 years of business to business sales and marketing experience in the lending and information services industry. Karen is a former account executive for a Fortune 500 company. Karen is responsible for the formation and operation of a Pennsylvania licensed mortgage company; is a former partner and Human Resources Director for a credit and information services company and is currently a member of various trade and networking agencies.
Jim Wansacz: Business Development
Jim brings his experience as a ten year Pennsylvania State Legislator and his background in small business to the position of Business Development. Jim was a ranking member on the Environmental and Energy Committee, which was instrumental in creating Act 129. He was appointed Chairman of the Small Business Advisory Counsel and served on numerous task forces that dealt with issues affecting businesses and providing solutions to pending legislation. As a State Legislator, Jim advocated for incentives and grants for the business community to become more energy efficient.
Jim is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and minor in Economics. He currently serves as President of the Alumni Association Board.
Michael Shea: Senior Project Manager
Mike serves CEG as Project Manager. He comes to CEG with 15 years experience in the electrical industry. He has worked in the commercial and residential arenas. Mike has served as Project Manager for ground-up commercial electrical projects that include: Staybridge Suites, Comfort Suites, Ruby Tuesday’s, Red Lobster, Gap and Gap Kids.
Mike was instrumental in several start-up residential electrical companies and the training of new technicians.
Mike is a graduate of Luzerne Community College with a degree in Mobile Electronics.
