Power Purchase Agreements

New incentives for the development of renewable energy and federal tax benefits create a compelling business case for private developers to own and operate solar and wind power energy facilities.

There may be opportunities for school districts, governments and other organizations that cannot take advantage of those incentives and tax credits to partner with a investor-operator who would benefit.

The school or government provides its land or roof tops for a private energy development.  In return the developer offers a long term agreement to provide energy at an attractive rate to the host – usually at below market rate.

This private-public partnership benefits both participants which taking load off the grid and reducing carbon emissions.
